A black onyx centre in an architectural silhouette, held in a double halo: 28 round brilliants around the face, then 30 calibré-cut tapered baguettes forming the outer wall. Every baguette is cut individually to follow the contour of the centre stone. There are no standard baguettes in this house.
Built by hand in 18k rose gold and set tier by tier. Onyx gives the diamond nothing to compete with, which is the whole point of the piece. Sized to you and made to your order.
The centre is walled twice. The inner tier is round brilliant, close set and continuous. The outer tier is a wall of tapered baguettes, each one cut to a different measurement so the ring closes without a gap. Against a matt black centre any error in that wall is visible, so there is no margin in the setting.
We hold a tolerance far narrower than the trade does. Stones that would pass anywhere else are sent back. That is the whole business, and it is the reason a ZALXNDRA piece looks the way it does at arm's length.
The setting is built in order, tier by tier, by a single setter. Nothing is farmed out mid-piece. It is slower, and it is the only way the outer wall closes cleanly.
Documented at each stage, engraved with the house name, and delivered with full certification and lifetime care. If it comes back in twenty years, we will know exactly what we made.
